Great little pub! Thursday nights are pie night apparently, so that was an added bonus on our visit - and they were awesome! Staff were great and really friendly and helpful and even brought out a bed and bowl of water for our puppy!! Its got a big car park and even a dog station with water, treats and even bags. There's also a village shop to the right as you walk in to pick up a few essentials. All in all a great pub and happily visit again

What an absolute gem, we came for the lamb shanks and they did not disappoint!! We then thought it would be rude not to have dessert and since they all sounded yummy we couldn’t decide and ordered the “ dessert platter” that was delicious and has to be the best dessert idea I have seen. Karen thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality your premises is gorgeous and so interesting. We had a wonderful evening

Perfect Sunday lunch! We were looked after so well, the food was great, nice vegetables, service was quick and the pub itself was lovely. A perfect pit stop off the A303 felt like a long way away from the main road but super easy to get too. Very reasonable prices too. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

What a lovely find! A group of cousins all met up for a meal and this was half way between us all. Quite varied menu and very good value for money. Decent sized portions too! Also, on arrival, we were asked about allergies. Well done to the staff as not all places do this. Oh....and very importantly....the toilets were spotless! All in all, thoroughly recommended. We will be back!

We stopped here on our way for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed: staff really attentive and friendly (and generally very dog-friendly) and we loved their hospitality. The food was fresh and extremely delicious, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. We were amazed at the vegetarian and vegan options for the roast, which were also exquisite! We can really recommend stopping by (reservation might be advisable, it filled quite fast).

The pub sits alongside the road and has a car park around the back, the church is to the other side of the pub, it's a lovely looking building nestled in a quite village. The hostess/bar lady was fantastic, making all visitors very welcome and had a great sense of humour. What was very nice was she checked for any dietary requirements and if vegan/vegetarian too, which is important to some. The fireplace is lovely and warm on a winters night and the atmosphere and internal look is very quaint and almost like stepping back in time, in a good way. Very relaxed and a cosy feel, which is very welcome. The food was certainly varied and very good quality/standard, also prices weren't exorbitant which was very pleasing. Overall a great pub, lots of atmosphere and a very warm welcome awaits you, what more could you ask for. We'll be back for sure, hope you try it too. Enjoy soaking up the atmosphere

Moved closer recently and decided to try The Bell for an evening meal. Lots of choice on the menu. Very tasty fall off the bone lamb shank and great beer and ales. The local cider was delicious. Darcy was a perfect hostess making us feel welcome. Compliments to the chef which meant we booked for the roast the next day. Perfect roast with a cold cider then sat in the little outdoor garden under vines. Very pretty. We will be back. Thank Darcy, Joe and David x
